Had a listen when it was released, liked some songs. Picked it up again some weeks ago and damn! its been spinning like hell. Despite some nice "Quotsa vibes" they surely have their own identity. Songs 2, 3, 4 and 6 have become favorites. I like the newer stuff aswell but this album brings me back to early 2000, and being the sentimental dude that I am, thats a big big plus. kent-a
Utterly hypnotic, heavy, and ethereal beyond what I can aptly describe here. It'll take you careening down a kaleidoscopic wormhole of audial bliss. cynothoglys
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But SPIRAL GURU's cool 70s influenced psychedelic rock even rocks a bit more. Usually this is not my genre, stuf like Spiritual Beggars or the like, but SPIRAL GURU is definitely charming, maybe because of the female vocals. Further the songs are not too psychedelic, they have a solid catchiness. Check "Signs" or "Oracle". H.L.
