lyrics
Here comes the sorrow here comes the pain
This is the dull sound of your dead brain
Running in circles chasing tour tail
Follow the white ball on the train rail
Spare us the pity, spare us the shame
Just clear the space filled by your name
You don’t deserve mercy you’re a blank space in time
Without you on it the world will shine
Your sins will not be erased
I'll make you drink all the blood you have shed
My hate is untiring, I'll strangle you with my own hands
And you will see
What I saw
Here come my arrows here is my knife
I’ll take all your children and your wife
Just as you took mine a long time ago
I want you to watch them as they go
And feed on their corpses while I keep you alive
Then I’ll carve your heart out just to put it inside
You will be forgotten you will be erased
By all that you fear
And all that you hate
Had a listen when it was released, liked some songs. Picked it up again some weeks ago and damn! its been spinning like hell. Despite some nice "Quotsa vibes" they surely have their own identity. Songs 2, 3, 4 and 6 have become favorites. I like the newer stuff aswell but this album brings me back to early 2000, and being the sentimental dude that I am, thats a big big plus. kent-a
Utterly hypnotic, heavy, and ethereal beyond what I can aptly describe here. It'll take you careening down a kaleidoscopic wormhole of audial bliss. cynothoglys
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But SPIRAL GURU's cool 70s influenced psychedelic rock even rocks a bit more. Usually this is not my genre, stuf like Spiritual Beggars or the like, but SPIRAL GURU is definitely charming, maybe because of the female vocals. Further the songs are not too psychedelic, they have a solid catchiness. Check "Signs" or "Oracle". H.L.
